Verso is published by Miguel Ridruejo Mendoza, a sole trader established in Spain (NIF 02585581J), Calle de Travessera 44, 08021 Barcelona, Spain — hello@versobible.com. "We" and "us" below mean him.
These terms cover your use of the Verso app and this website. By using Verso you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the app.
Your licence
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Verso on devices you own or control, for your own reading and study. You may not resell the app, copy its content in bulk, reverse engineer it, or use it to build a competing product.
Bible text
The translations bundled with Verso are in the public domain: the Berean Standard Bible, the King James Version, the World English Bible and the Reina-Valera 1909. They are attributed in the app under Settings → Attributions.
Verse studies and other written content
Study content, reading plans and Discover cards are written with the help of an AI model, reviewed before release, and provided for study and reflection. They are not infallible and they are not a substitute for Scripture itself, for your own reading, or for the teaching of your church. If something reads wrong, tell us and we will correct or remove it. This content belongs to us and is licensed to you for personal use.
Your content
Notes you write, verses you save and plans you build are yours. They stay on your device and in your own iCloud; we claim no rights over them and, in the ordinary course, we never see them.
Verso Plus subscriptions
- Reading the Bible in Verso is free. Verso Plus unlocks unlimited studies, every study type, all reading plans and custom plans, the full Discover feed and every verse-image style.
- Prices at launch: $39.99 every 6 months with a 7-day free trial, or $6.99 per month. Prices are in US dollars and vary by region; the price and billing period are always shown before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings. Starting a subscription during a free trial ends the trial immediately.
- We may change prices for future periods; existing subscribers are told in advance, as Apple requires.

Acceptable use
Do not use Verso to break the law, to interfere with the service or its servers, or to attempt to access other people's data. We may suspend access that damages the service or its users.
Availability
Reading works offline. Studies and Discover need a connection and depend on our servers, which we may change, interrupt for maintenance, or discontinue. We aim to keep the app working and to give notice of significant changes, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
Disclaimers and liability
Verso is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death, personal injury or fraud. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the date above shows the current version, and material changes are noted in the app's release notes. Continuing to use Verso after a change means you accept it.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts of your place of residence. Purchases are also subject to Apple's Media Services Terms, including any right of withdrawal they provide.
