Refunds & Cancellation
Last updated 1 October 2026
How you cancel and ask for a refund depends on where you subscribed: in the iPhone app (Apple), in the Android app (Google Play) or on the web at app.versobible.com (Paddle).
Cancelling
You can cancel Verso Plus at any time, and keep the benefits until the end of the period you have paid for. On your iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Verso → Cancel Subscription. You can also reach that screen from Verso: Home → Settings → Verso Plus → Manage subscription.
Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends, or Apple will charge the next one.
Subscribed in the Android app? Open the Play Store app, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Verso → Cancel subscription. You can also reach it from Verso: Home → Settings → Verso Plus → Manage subscription. Uninstalling Verso does not cancel it. You keep Plus until the end of the paid period; cancel before the period ends so Google Play doesn't charge the next one. Google's help: Cancel, pause, or change a subscription on Google Play.
Subscribed on the web? Open Verso on the web: Settings → Verso Plus → Manage subscription, or use the link in your Paddle receipt email. You keep Plus until the end of the paid period.
Free trials
A 7-day free trial costs nothing if you cancel before it ends. Changing plan during a trial may end it; Apple, Google Play or Paddle show what happens before you confirm.
Refunds
In the iPhone app, Apple sells the subscription and handles all refunds — we cannot issue one ourselves. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com, or on your device through Settings → your name → Media & Purchases → Purchase History. Apple decides each request under its own policy, and consumer law where you live may give you further rights.
In the Android app, Google Play takes the payment. Within 48 hours of a charge you can ask Google for a refund yourself: on play.google.com, select your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions → Budget & order history → Report a problem, next to the Verso order (Request a refund on Google Play). After that, write to us at hello@versobible.com: we can refund Google Play orders ourselves, and we will where it is fair or consumer law requires it. Google decides its own requests under Google Play's refund policies, and consumer law where you live may give you further rights.
On the web, Paddle sells the subscription as merchant of record. Ask for a refund from the link in your Paddle receipt or at paddle.net, or write to us and we will pass it on. Where consumer law gives you a right to withdraw within 14 days of your first payment (including when a free trial turns into a subscription), Paddle honours it as Paddle's refund policy describes.
If something in Verso did not work as promised, tell us at hello@versobible.com before or after you ask Apple or Google: we will confirm what happened, fix it, and back up your request where it is fair to do so.
Changing devices or restoring
An App Store subscription follows your Apple Account: on a new device, install Verso and tap Home → Settings → Verso Plus → Restore purchases. If you have a Verso account, sign in instead (Settings → Account) and your subscription, whichever way you bought it, and your library come with you.
A Google Play subscription follows your Google account: on a new Android phone signed in to the same Google account, install Verso and tap Home → Settings → Verso Plus → Restore purchases.
