Prayer after the Rosary
℣. Pray for us, holy Mother of God.
℟. That we may become worthy of the promises of Christ.
Let us pray.
O God, whose only-begotten Son, by his life, death and resurrection, has won for us the rewards of eternal life: grant, we pray, that as we meditate on these mysteries of the most holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.

In Latin
℣. Ora pro nobis, sancta Dei Genetrix.
℟. Ut digni efficiamur promissionibus Christi.
Oremus.
Amen.
About this prayer
The collect of the feast of the Holy Rosary in the Roman Missal before 1970. The feast began as thanksgiving for the victory at Lepanto (7 October 1571); Gregory XIII set it in 1573 on the first Sunday of October, and it has been kept on 7 October since 1913. It is the usual closing prayer of the Rosary, said after the Hail, Holy Queen. Translated for Verso from the Latin.
